Suva expects to reenter service in 2021 by 1 July! The repairs are going well, and we should be ready for guests soon!
Corona Virus Notes: Though Island County is easing restrictions, because we are regulated bg the USCG and Transportation department, we will still require Masks to be worn until those rules change, also.
Looking for something to do on Whidbey Island? Sail with us…back in time! Experience a leisurely 2-2.5 hour cruise in beautiful Penn Cove, or an all-day charter in nearby waters aboard historic Schooner Suva!
This Gatsby-era schooner was built in 1925 for Coupeville resident and attorney, Frank J Pratt, Jr. She was designed by Ted Geary, a noted Seattle naval architect. Built in Hong Kong, then shipped to British Columbia for spars and rigging, Suva sailed into Coupeville making a grand entrance. Since that time, Suva remained in Puget Sound waters. She is now the proud flagship of the Coupeville Maritime Heritage Foundation, only her sixth owner, and is open to the public for tours and sailing. Come discover her charm. Welcome aboard!
